Frequently asked questions
Can clients book instantly, or do I need to approve every request?
Either — you choose. Free uses request-to-book, so you confirm each appointment yourself. Core, Grow and Pro switch on instant booking, so clients pick a slot and it's confirmed immediately.
What's included on the free plan?
Online booking, your own booking page and a free marketplace listing — enough to start taking bookings at no cost, for as long as you use it.
Can I take deposits and card payments?
Yes. Core and above let you take deposits at the time of booking to cut no-shows, and Pro adds a full point of sale for card and cash payments at the till.
Is my data mine if I ever want to leave?
Yes. Your bookings, clients and sales figures belong to you. Appointment and sales lists export as CSV for the range you're viewing, any time; the client list exports up to 200 rows per file, so a bigger list takes more than one export.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes — there's no long-term contract on any plan. Cancel any time from your account settings.
Do you support salons outside the UK?
Yes. BeautyZilla works for both UK and US salons — you can set your own service prices and take client payments in GBP or USD. Our plan prices are in GBP today.
Is there a setup fee?
Only on Core, which includes a one-off £199 setup fee. Free, Grow and Pro have no setup fee.
Can I import my clients from Fresha, Treatwell or a spreadsheet?
Yes. The import wizard takes a CSV of clients, shows you the columns it matched before it writes anything, and catches duplicates by phone or email. Appointment history doesn't come across, so rebooking and retention reports start from the day you import, not your old system's history.
