Gift cards

A gift card is bought on your site or at the till, for a fixed amount or a service — 'a balayage', not just '£150' — and arrives by email with a code and a wallet pass. It is redeemed at the till or online against a booking, partially if needed, and the remaining balance stays on the card. Balances are a liability on your books, so the report shows what is outstanding and what expired; expiry is set by you, and a card can be topped up or transferred.

Loyalty points

Points earn automatically on every completed visit and every retail line — a rate you set, per pound spent, with a bonus for the services you want to grow. The balance sits on the client's card, on their manage link and on their wallet pass, and the till offers the redemption at payment the moment the balance is worth something, so nobody has to ask. No stamp card, no separate app to download, and nothing for the desk to remember on a busy Saturday. Points move with the client between locations on multi-site plans, and a refund claws back exactly the points that sale earned — no manual tidy-up.

Online shop

The products on your shelf are the products in your shop — one catalogue, one stock ledger. A client buys the shampoo you recommended from your site at 10pm, pays by card, and chooses delivery or click-and-collect at their next appointment. The order appears at the desk, stock goes down the moment it is paid, and the sale lands in the same reports as the till. The storefront is rolling out tenant by tenant today — the Works-with block on this page shows whether it's live for a new signup yet. There is no second platform to manage: prices, photos and descriptions are edited once, in the catalogue, and the shop follows.

Stock in step with the till

Stock control is the same ledger seen from the stockroom: suppliers, purchase orders, receiving, reorder levels, stock takes and transfers between locations, with cost and retail on every product so margin is a column, not a guess. A retail sale at the till and an order in the shop both reduce the same figure at the moment they are paid, and the stock report names what has fallen below its reorder level — with the supplier beside it — before the shelf is empty. Receiving against a purchase order updates cost prices as they actually were, so margin figures describe the stock you bought, not the stock you meant to buy.

Apple & Google Wallet passes

A confirmed appointment becomes a pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet: the salon, the service, the time, the address, and a link to manage it. It updates when the appointment moves and shows on the lock screen on the day. A gift card and a loyalty balance are passes too, so a client at the till can hold up their phone rather than hunt for an email — and the pass carries your branding, not ours. Asked before you ask

Do gift cards cost me anything to sell?

No commission. A card bought online is paid by card through Stripe at the processor's rate, the same as any online payment; a card sold at the till is just a sale.

Can a gift card be for a specific service?

Yes — 'a balayage' rather than '£150'. It is redeemed against that service, and if the price has changed the difference is handled at the till.

How does loyalty work without a stamp card?

Points earn on completed visits and retail automatically. The client sees the balance on their manage link and wallet pass; the till offers the redemption when it is worth something.

Is the shop stock the same as my shelf?

Yes, one ledger. A till sale and a shop order both reduce the same figure, and the stock report is right about what is on the shelf.

Do I have to ship orders?

Delivery is on by default, at a flat rate you set yourself — including free. Switch on click-and-collect to add pickup at the next appointment as a second option alongside delivery; there's no way to turn delivery off today.

Which wallets are supported?

Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, for appointments, gift cards and loyalty balances. The Works-with block shows the current status of each.

Which plan includes stock control?

Stock control is plan-gated and its chip is read from the plan matrix. Gift cards, loyalty and wallet passes are not plan-gated.
